Community Activism

As an activist, socially conscious powerhouse, Dalannah can be found sharing her gifts and lessons via community work with people in the poorest neighbourhood in Canada, the downtown eastside of Vancouver. She uses her music to make a bold statement about injustice and inequality and often participates in protests and marches.

As Dalannah says in her own words...

“”I have always felt that we have a responsibility to contribute to make this world a better place. I have been involved in supportive programs and fundraisers for non-profit organizations dealing with poverty, racism, violence against women, elders, food banks, and many more since 1979. Here are examples of organizations that I have worked with and/or supported over the years. Please, explore them and my hope is that you will find one that you can support.”

in peace,

Dalannah
